The effective use of styrene can save both time and money on construction projects. Polystyrene is a great void former as it is easy to use and can be supplied already cut to size. It is also an excellent void filler to save concrete, and different densities can suit a wide range of structural requirements. . For custom signs, letters and shapes, AU&S can provide a cost effective solution to using other materials. Our machines can cut any 2D design including both standard and custom lettering.

Movies, Stage and Sculpting
AU&S provides a range of products for use in the creating of custom sets and objects. Polystyrene and polyurethane are both easy to shape with hand tools, and polyurethane can be easily fiberglassed. We also supply special effects foam which is designed specifically to resist ignition during special effects sequences.

Floral Foam
AU&S provides a variety of foam for use in the floral industry. Styrene shapes such as hearts, crosses and wreath rings provide an excellent template for flower arrangements. AU&S also provides speciality polyurethane floral foam for mounting flowers in. This foam is very soft and comes in green or grey.

Due to the good flotation properties of styrene and urethane, they provide an excellent base for marine applications such as pontoons and boat buoyancy.
